Bob Shaver

Bob Shaver, MBA, is program director for Fundamentals of Management in Executive Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Business. In addition, Bob designs employee surveys and on-site custom programs. Prior to his academic appointment in 1990, Bob had more than 20 years of corporate and government work experience, including 10 years of first-line, middle, and executive management experience. Bob received his M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has completed training in several adult education models, including Dynamic Accelerated Learning (DALS), Bob Pike’s Creative Training Techniques, outward-bound (experiential learning models), and the University Associates Instructors Skills program.

Dale Feinauer

Dale Feinauer has been a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh since 1983, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in both human resources and management. He has engaged in consulting in the areas of employee empowerment, team building, reengineering, compensation, training, planning, organizational culture, managing organizational change, performance appraisal, and human resource planning.  Dale received his Bachelors of Science, Masters of Labor and Human Resources, and Ph.D. in Labor and Human Resources from The Ohio State University.

Joan F. Gillman

Joan Gillman is emeritus director of special industry programs for the University of Wisconsin-Madison's School of Business. In this capacity, Joan acted as a conduit between university resources and the business community. In 1996, she founded the Family Business Center and the Agribusiness Program at UW-Madison. Previously, she was the director of Madison’s Small Business Development Center. In addition to her work at UW-Madison, Joan teaches and travels internationally. Her MBA is from the University of Wisconsin.

Mark Rodgers

He is a certified member of the Association of Finance and Insurance Professionals. Since 1998, Mark has delivered over 1,250 training workshops.

Susan Stites

Susan Stites is the owner of Management Allegories, a management development consulting firm specializing in executive coaching and mentoring. She works with organizations of all sizes in service, nonprofit, manufacturing, and government sectors. Susan holds a Masters degree in industrial education from Northwestern University. She is a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and is former president of ASTD’s South Central Wisconsin Chapter.

Lori L. Silverman

Lori Silverman is the owner of Partners for Progress®, a management consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations think differently. Her highly energized and enthusiastic speaking approach and magical stories inspire her audiences to take action. Lori, a member of the National Speakers Association, has authored over 75 articles and workbooks on the topics of strategic planning, teamwork, self-managed teams, organizational transformation, achieving customer satisfaction, and how to influence others. Lori holds a B.S. degree in psychology and an M.S. degree in counseling and guidance, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also has an MBA degree from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin.

Laura V. Page

Laura V. Page is an organization and business consultant based in Madison, Wisconsin. She assists owner/managers in strengthening employee and customer relationships. Her practice includes consulting on issues of strategic planning, conflict resolution, employee motivation, team building, management development, quality improvement, and customer service. Laura has presented a wide range of seminars for profit and not-for-profit organizations in industry, government, higher education, and health care. Her background includes a Masters degree in marketing/advertising, certificate in administration, and Bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Northwestern University, and a Masters degree in management development from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. 

The University of Wisconsin–Madison, as a member of the University Continuing Education Association (UCEA), authorizes this course for 4.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or 40 hours.
