“All of the classes I have taken through the University of Wisconsin-Madison Executive Education have been beneficial to me in some way. I found the ‘Strategic Global Sourcing’ course in the Purchasing program particularly helpful, as it is an area my teammates and I are required to work within the procurement chain. The knowledgeable instructors helped me better understand the types of items, components and services that could sensibly be moved offshore. I also learned what factors should be considered when making the decision to source domestically or globally, as not everything should logically be sourced offshore. Since taking this course, I was assigned a new project: source all of the components for a specific product. It was a perfect opportunity for me to bring my newfound sourcing skills to the table, and I felt very confident using them.”
Jennifer Emond, Senior Buyer, New Product Development, Sub-Zero, Inc./Wolf Appliance, Inc., Madison, WI
“This is the very best executive education experience I’ve ever attended. The faculty, handouts, staff and facilities are all top notch. More importantly, the subject matter was well presented, very relevent and current. The information will be very helpful to me as I direct my company on our journey towards excellence in Strategic Global Sourcing. Great course!
Overall, the program made me “think” and kept me fully engaged and interested for all 3 days.”
