Rob Stone, PMP®


Rob Stone is a PMP® and a Six Sigma Black Belt. Rob has taught workshops and seminars on project management throughout the United States, as well as in Europe, Australia, China, and Africa. Rob also has over 8 years experience with process improvement and Six Sigma projects and over 5 years as a program faculty member teaching the UW Project Management framework to business professionals around the world. He worked as part of team that implemented formalized process improvement projects in Wisconsin State Government agencies and has brought systematic process improvement to the Technical School system (TAFE).

Rob Stone is a successful project manager who also teaches workshops and seminars on project management throughout the United States, Africa, China, and Australia. Rob’s hands-on approach developed from his background as a project manager in the civil engineering field where he has managed projects from conception, through design, to completed construction. His projects include road and highway construction projects, site development projects for large buildings, including hospitals, as well as subdivision design and construction, including schools, shopping areas, parks, and residential sites for a planned new town of 5000 people.

Rob also works closely with IS projects and applies project management practices and methodologies around the globe to non-traditional projects such as human services redesign and agricultural development.

Through his years of experience, Rob has branched out from his technical background in mathematics and engineering to embrace the people skills necessary to effectively work with a varied group of team members throughout a project to achieve projected outcomes and results.
